Note: Candidates must be domicile of Uttarakhand (even if the candidate has passed the minimum qualification from any board i.e. CBSE/ICSE, Uttarakhand board or any other recognized outer state board)
Age limit: 17-35years as on 31st of December, 2012
Minimum qualification or eligibility criteria:
ANM- minimum 12th Pass
GNM- minimum 12th Pass (Science stream) with 40% marks
Note- According to new rule by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi
1- Now inter pass from any stream can apply for GNM.
2- There have been some changes in the course structure of ANM and duration of the ANM course will be of 2 year as against 18 months.
Application form and information brochure will be available from 1st of May to 2nd June (earlier it was of 19th of May 2012) from designated post offices of major cities of Uttarakhand.

Dehradun, Almora, Bageshwar, Gopeshwar, Joshimath, Rudraprayag, Haridwar, Nainital, Pantnagar, Kashipur, Haldwani, Pauri, Kotdwar, Srinagar (Pauri Garhwal), Pithoragarh, Champawat, New Tehri, Uttarakashi, Ranikhet, Karanprayag
Application Fees: GEN/OBC Candidates- Rs. 640, for SC/ST Candidates-Rs.340.
Last date of submission of the form: 6th June (earlier it was 23rd May, 2012) through registered/speed post/By hand
Date of Entrance Exam: 15th July (earlier it was 24th June, 2012)
