this to know about the result and cut-off of the VDO recruitment exam
2012
New date of exam has been fixed on 21st October, 2012 due to clash of many exams on 23rd
of September.
Panchayati raj vibhag Uttarakhand is inviting application
for the 771 post of Village development officer (VDO) or Gram Panchayat Vikas
Adhikari in the pay scale 5200-1900-20200.
These vacancies are under the modified recruitment process
which was initiated on 18 June 2008 but later on the process was stalled. So
the candidates who have applied at that time (2008) need not apply again and
those who have now crossed the age limit but were eligible at that time will be
considered under the recruitment process.
Minimum Qualification
and other criteria:
1- Intermediate plus basic computer knowledge.
2- Registration in the employment exchange of Uttarakhand is
necessary.
3- One candidate can apply for one district only. It is
advisable that don’t apply for more than one district as those did the same in
the recent Uttarakhand Police recruitment were later found guilty and were
removed even after the selection.
Age Limit as on 1st
July, 2012: 18-35 years

Mode of selection:
written test containing multiple choice questions (100 questions) with 1/4th
negative marking.
Recruitment exam
Fees: No fees has to be paid for the form now according to the latest
notice in the newspapers however it was mentioned earlier that 500
(General/OBC) and 250 (SC/ST) payable to “District Panchayati Raj officer”
through Bank Draft of any nationalized Bank
Where and how to send
the form? To the respective District Panchayati Raj office where you want
to apply through registered/speed post only. You also have to send a self
addressed envelop (11”x 5”) pasted with INR 25 postal tickets along with the
application form
Note- you have to
send all photocopies of necessary document duly attested by the Gazetted
officer.

submission: 16th July, 2012.
